The Bible Way to Heaven
1 | Recognize your condition.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
2 | Realize sin's penalty.
For the wages of sin is death...
Romans 6:23a
A wage is a payment. The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place that the Bible calls Hell.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14
3 | Believe Christ died for you.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
The word commendeth means "demonstrated." God showed His love for you by giving His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins.

4 | Trust Christ alone as your Savior.

Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

5 | Claim God's promise for salvation.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

To believe on Jesus Christ as Savior means to believe that He died for you, He paid the price for your sin, and that as the Son of God, He is the only way to Heaven.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
