Core Beliefs

This doctrinal statement does not exhaust the extent of our faith.

The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

The Bible

We believe the 66 books of the Bible are verbally inspired, inerrant and infallible. God has preserved His Word as He promised He would and it is intact in the King James Bible. The KJV is the only version that we use and recommend for the English language.

The Godhead

We believe in the triune (trinity) God consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All are equal in essence and power, each with varied offices.

The Person & Work of Jesus Christ

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God. He was the Creator God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died for the sins of the whole world. He was buried and rose again the 3rd day, that we might obtain eternal life.

The Doctrine of Man

Man was created in the image of God and is made up of the body, soul and spirit. Adam willfully sinned, and therefore sin is passed upon everyone, resulting in both physical and spiritual death. We are all in need of the salvation that only Jesus Christ provides and it is only by the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we may obtain the free gift of salvation. When one repents and puts his faith and trust in the finished work of Christ, then eternal life can be obtained by being born again. A true believer can never lose his salvation.

Separation

The believer is to separate from all worldly practices that dishonor the Savior.

The Church

We believe that the Local New Testament Church is God’s plan for this age for fulfilling the Great Commission. All believers are to be baptized, become members and faithfully serve our Savior in and through a Bible believing/preaching/teaching LNTC for which Christ gave His life.

End Times

We believe in the personal, visible, pre-tribulational, pre-millinnial, imminent return of Jesus Christ in the clouds to catch away (Rapture) His people (church).

Eternal State

We believe the souls of those that have been born again, immediately upon death or at the Rapture, pass into the presence of Jesus Christ in Heaven and remain with Him for all eternity. The souls of unbelievers, immediately upon death, pass to Hades where they await the Great White Throne Judgement where they will be cast forever into the Lake of Fire with Satan and his angels.
